Hiya! SunG here & welcome to UTAU Square! I've been trying to figure out how to make this place for about 5 years now & I'm so glad I was able to find people who were excited in the concept. I noticed how many different types of talents tend to be needed or desired to work with vocal synths, like art & tuning, but not everyone is able to be able to do all those things. I figured making a place where we can all help each other out would really make a lot of nice voices & people really shine! So I really appreciate you guys coming here even if it's just to get a feel for what it is.
A run-down about me:
I'm 25, almost 26, when writing this & I try to be as nice & helpful as I can because everyone deserves that opportunity. My brain is usually filled up with Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, drawing, & singing. Talking can usually be difficult for me but don't be afraid to ever strike up a conversation because I really do appreciate the company! I can be pretty forgetful too so if there is something you need, reminding me is fine! My music experience is about 7 years of playing the clarinet in my middle school & high school band. I've always loved drawing but I didn't seek improvement until middle school & I try to improve however I can. Drawing hair & eyes are my favorite part!
Most of the work you'll see of me in the UTAU community is voicebank configuring. I try to learn & discuss about it all to make every voicebank as good as it can. It's really nice seeing how excited people get to hear their utau after my configurations! I can configure just about anything for UTAU but I believe there's always more to learn.
My UTAU is Kara [Kokone] & although she's meant to be like an avatar of myself, she has grown to be someone I wish I could be: carefree & fun. I try everything I can do make her as good, natural, & user-friendly as possible. I apologize if I push her to others or in topics so much but I love her a lot & really like sharing the work that went into her
Anyway, I hope you learned more about me & that we all have fun to help this lil community thrive. I'm so excited to see what we all can accomplish!
